How did you get started in the Parking Industry?

I spent over a decade in the restaurant and bar business and I wanted to transition into something that would be a challenge, allow me to transfer skills learned in F + B, and better utilize my college majors of finance and marketing. After a ton of research I chose to pursue the parking industry.

What are your favorite neighborhoods in Connecticut?

South Norwalk for all its dining and entertainment options while being so close to the water. I also enjoy the Black Rock neighborhood for its rich history, diversity, live music options, and nightlife.

What are some of your favorite spots?

Donovan’s, Il Posto, Evarito’s, The SoNo Collection, O’Neill’s in SoNo. The Black Duck Café in Westport, Modern Apizza is my favorite of the New Haven Pizza spots although they are all insanely good. Park City Music Hall, The Castle, BRYAC in Black Rock.

The holidays are here. What are some things you just have to get out and see/do every year?

The Holiday Bells Grove at the SoNo Collection is such a great, family-friendly, multi-sensory experience. The SoNo tree-lighting ceremony, and each year I pick tags and buy gifts for several children through The Salvation Army, which is by far my favorite part of the holidays.

What brought you to Premium Parking?

What brought me was my desire to find a new industry. I left in 2014 and returned to Premium in 2019, so what brought me back first and foremost is that I believe in what we are doing as a company. I believe that a laser focus on maximizing parking utilization is not only a win for the owners of the parking lots and garages, but also helps to foster a more productive and enjoyable experience in any city or town that has fewer parking spaces than vehicles.
