Clara Barkley Dorr had the Dorr House built in 1871 for herself and her five children, and the property still stands to this day in its original location which faces historic Seville Square. The Dorr House is curious in its choice of using Greek or Classical revival features, since this style was considered out of date in other parts of the country at the time of construction. For more insight and information about the Dorr House, please check out the "Becoming American Tour" to learn about this property and many others as you are led through a layered, historical path in beautiful downtown Pensacola.
