Plaza Tower– 1001 Howard Avenue
- Construction was halted in October 1966 and was not resumed until 1968 after being sold.
- Tallest building in New Orleans and Louisiana from 1969-1972; surpassed by One Shell Square.
- The building is prominent with its eclectic design and location to the southwest of the primary cluster of CBD high-rises.
- Slated for a complete renovation and new facade in converting it into the "Crescent City Residences" from offices into luxury apartments and condos.
