Nestled atop historic Union Hill in Midtown KC, Buttonwood Art Space is a community‑focused gallery housed in the beautifully restored 1870s Buttonwood Building. Boasting over 7,500 sq ft of unique exhibit and event space, it features skylights, tin ceilings, curved walls and warm birch casework—blending historic charm with modern flair.

The gallery hosts two- to three‑month rotating exhibitions showcasing local and regional artists, with a philanthropic twist: a portion of every sale supports local nonprofits, and buyers can receive a tax‑deductible donation on qualifying art purchases.

Open Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM (walk-ins welcome), Buttonwood also participates in Crossroads District’s popular First Friday opening receptions, along with free event space offerings to nonprofit groups.
